Gayle,I've just finished reading your blog-inspiring! Your mom sent me your blog address yesterday. In case you don't remember me, I'm your mom's friend Gloria Sumner's(from her childhood & present)daughter. Your parents are very dear friends of ours. She & I are always saying we wish there was time when you visit for us to get together, we have so many common interests, etc.
I was particularly touched by your post June 25,'08 Whispers of the Valley, I had tears pouring. You expressed so eloquently how I feel about Northampton County and my grandparents's farm. Once again that kindred spirit emerges. so many people of our age don't get it. Anyway, I will enjoy keeping up with you now and hope to see you whenever you get to NC again.
